WELCOME TRAVELER!
Come and see treasures you're sure to find nowhere else! All manner of coin is accepted at Yon's Yuk Hut! We have all kinds of trinket, doo dads, bibs, and bobbles. Not good enough? How about wiz wazzles? Shrinking caterpillars? No, no that wouldn't do. Not for the likes of someone distinguished as yourself. I can see you have taste. I can see you yearn for something more. Let's see...I'm always forgetting what I have left in stock.
Yon inches closer.
Years ago, I remembered. The memories flowed from the Aether so easily. I used to pluck them from the vine with no resistance. Sit with them. Now, I mourn them. What fractures remain serve only to remind me of what I cannot have. The lapping tide of nostalgia has turned to waves of torment. Yet, I do it with a smile. Offering discounts to unload as quickly as a I can, so one day I may find peace again.
Yon inches closer still.
A piece of home was all Yon ever wanted really. That's not too much to ask for. He was amazing. He was grace. He was determination. And that's what I loved about him. When it comes time to sell those memories, will be the time I mourn proper. For now i sell the disagreements, the annoyances, the shouting. Those are easy sells. Fear and anger are entertainment while growth and support is slow and dull. Snoozefest Hardly blame them. I'd change the channel too.
Yon throws an arm around you and gestures towards a pile of broken glass. At first the shimmer is blinding but upon closer inspection there's more. First shard you notice contains a single hair. Prying your attention is the visage of a finger. As if floating through space, it dances. A grotesque macabre sight. What is first curiosity is soon replaced with disgust. It does not seem these parts were taken apart cleanly. Or with much care.
Why not scry this betrayal for greed and power? I promise it'll be worth your wile, traveler. To see someone betray their spouse for the sake of some trivial magics? Now that sounds like a fine tale. Yes, a fine tale indeed, traveler. Why, it even comes in a chested set! Oh, how wonderful! Not to spoil it Traveler, but wait until you see how this betrayer is dealt justice. For what would be more fitting than to parcel out from a man that took so much? Peer upon the story as old as time, then you'll understand. Yes, how could you not see the hardworking spouse HAD to do it, Traveler! What other choice would a traveling merchant have but sell him off?
